She Walks and Talks

Dan will update further this evening. Word from him this afternoon is that she's doing great. She's sitting up and walking. She's not blogging yet but had preposted scripture to appear during her recovery.... always a step ahead of the rest of us. Thank you for allowing the space for a quiet recovery with immediate family. You know Tammy Jo will not let it stay quiet for long! Please post comments here - I'm sure she'll be reading them as soon as she can and they will be precious to her since she will have them here forever on this blog.

I just wanted to let you know that I am praying for all of you. I just found out this morning about the surgery, and I read the whole blog. I can't even imagine going through something like this. I admire you all for your strength and your trust in God. I miss you guys!

Tammy Jo, you are absolutely amazing, and I pray that God allows you to use this experience as a way to share his awesome love with those who have yet to experience it. You have touched my heart with your transparency. Thank you for sharing this experience with us and letting us rally around you in prayer.

Great to hear things are going well for you and the family TJ. The prayers from Jamaica have been coming your way all week and we are excited to hear your progress has been good.

Your team has been working hard here and has finished their house project and shared Christ's love with all they have met. You are loved by all and we look forward to more great news!! God Bless

Tammy Jo - I just found out about this surgery yesterday and have been praying non-stop for you and your family!!! Praise God the surgery went well!!
I can't wait to hear your stories (always funny) about your experience with your surgery and recovery. You always have a humorous side to your life - and I love it!! I'll never forget when you hurt your finger while on a Women's Emmaus Walk and had to go to the hospital to get it stitched or something (I forget the details) - when you came back - you shared your short but funny experience while at the hospital - I laughed for a long time after hearing that story. I love your sense of humor!
Take care, my friend.
Love,
Jan Rickard

Hey girl - glad to hear you are up and around. Peace be with you and the family. I have been in the presence of a great woman this week, M.T. Winter, and one of the things I was thinking as I listened to her speak was, Tammy Jo needs to hear this. So, I hope to get you a copy to listen to while you recover.

Love ya,
Cortney
